Meet Dr Praveen Ayethepalle, BDSc

An Interest in Prevention

Dr Praveen Ayethepalle, DentistI was interested in entering the medical field and considered becoming a general physician before I went into dentistry. Seeing many of my family and friends suffer from toothaches, loosing teeth, suffering from dentures and oral cancer made me choose dentistry as a way to help others. Often, people don’t visit the dentist until they have a problem, and they don’t know what’s happening in their mouths.

I wanted to become a dentist to motivate patients to learn more about their oral health and prevent problems before they happen.

Your oral health is what matters to me most. Dentistry is not just what I do for a living — it’s my life. When I’m not providing high quality dental services to our patients or spending time with my family, I’m busy thinking of new ways to make your next visit more enjoyable and more affordable. When you’re under my care, you can count on me creating a custom solution for your oral health needs — that’s my promise to you, and that’s exactly what you’ll get with me.

Earning Dental Qualifications

Dr Praveen completed his Bachelor of Dental Science in 2007 in India. Dr Praveen worked as a dental assistant in various practices (both public and private sectors) to closely observe the high standards of dental care offered in Australia, whilst re-graduating again in Australia. Dr Praveen has gone through rigorous training in Australia and cleared the Australian Dental Council examination in 2011 in Sydney. He also holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Odontology from the University of Western Australia in Perth. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association.

Putting You at Ease

Some people experience anxiety or fear when considering going to the dentist. Dr Praveen wants to ensure you are completely comfortable. He has an interest in patients who have experienced toothaches or sensitivity problems for years but have put off their dental visits. After seeing Dr Praveen and experiencing his gentle dentistry care, his patients get the relief they seek.

Continuing to Learn about Oral Care

Dr Praveen regularly continues his education by taking a variety of courses throughout the year. He’s involved in a two-year residency course in Sydney one weekend per month to learn more about orthodontics and children. ‘’Helping children at a younger age can prevent their teeth from becoming more crooked.”

Outside of the Practice

Dr Praveen has a young child and spends much of his free time with family or friends. He watches a lot of cricket and enjoys playing the game as well. He loves cooking and is a big fan of X-box games. Contact our office today to schedule your time with Dr Praveen!
